Easingwold Community Library Coffee Morning...

The month of May is local history month and it is being celebrated at the library with some very interesting displays. On Wednesday 8th we hosted a well supported coffee morning, where lots of visitors enjoyed looking at old photographs, maps and information about Easingwold and surrounding areas.

It is so interesting to see how Easingwold has changed over the years and everyone enjoyed finding out about the old shops and pubs and of course the train station.

Amazing that there used to be a train service from York on a Saturday night!
